‘Attraction Marketing’ are the new “buzz words” around the Network Marketing and Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) world. How to get leads for FREE and have prospects come to you, rather than you go to them. Well, when I heard this I thought ok this appeal’s to me, let me hear more. There was a lot of talk about ‘providing value’ and ‘branding’ yourself and having a niche. OK, I sort of understood that but, there was also a lot of talk about finding a niche. So, what’s a niche? I asked that a couple of dozen times and it still was never clear. All they would say is “well you know a niche a niche, you need to find a niche’. Well, I wanted to find a niche but how do I find it? Where do I look for a niche? I think you can understand thus far that this entire lingo was completely foreign to me but I was determined to understand it.

I was not giving up until I fully understood what all of this meant. I looked into everything and everyone who talked about this ‘Attraction Marketing’ and was still spinning in circles. I read several eBooks on the subject and found an awesome coach and I suddenly got it! And I want to explain this in a very simplistic way so that if you are like me you’ll get it also. What makes TV advertisements sell is that they actually show you how to use the product. Once you know how to use the product you opt to buy it or not. Most often they make it seem like something you just absolutely cannot do without. Like the Mr. Clean sponge…you can clean the bathroom, kitchen and your car with the same sponge and get amazing results. And, by the way, that really does work. You see they have taught you what it is, how to use it and why you just absolutely have to have it! No pushy sales person on your back. No demands for you to buy it. They are just showing you how it works, why it works and if you don’t have it you will have an absolutely filthy house. You cannot imagine what you ever did without it.

Now, back to Attraction Marketing, for those network marketers who have been struggling to “sell” their product or their business that is where you (and myself in the past) have gone wrong. Firstly, you have to give people something of value. Secondly, you need to teach them how and they will follow you. Thirdly, people need to know you care.

Let’s talk about the first one. You have to give people something of value. You know that Network Marketing and MLM are truly great. And it is an avenue for individuals to reap wealth beyond their wildest imagination at a very low start up cost. But you need to show them how. If they understand how they can succeed in Network Marketing everyone would do it. Secondly, you need to teach what they need to do in order to succeed. What they have to do and how they have to do it. Walk them through the process. Educate them. Thirdly, you must care about them! If your personal interest is above theirs and all you want to do is make a sale then you are already at a loss. People do not care how much you know until; they know how much you care. If their personal interest is above yours then the partnership will work.

Once you have absorbed what you know and you are ready to teach you are instantly providing ‘Value’. You are ‘Branding’ yourself because you are the specialist in that area. Your niche is decided when you know who your target population will be. Who will you are teaching (Moms, Home-schooling Moms, Women, Men, Elderly, Baby-Boomers, Cooks, Professional, Blue Collar individuals, etc), and what exactly you will be teaching. Once you decide you have established your niche. Teaching Sells, so now you are heads above everyone else who is pushing a product or business. Individuals need to understand how Attraction Marketing will help them increase their income, so you teach them. When you establish yourself as an educator you will be able to monetize from this as well as have people follow you in your business ventures. People will pay whatever they have to in order to learn what it is that you know. Learn and absorb this method well so that you can become an outstanding Network Marketer and be able to establish yourself as an effective Attraction Marketer.
